Rug Cleaning - Massachusetts

Vacuuming:

We use our commercial strength machinery to vacuum your area rug on the front and back of the rug. Releasing and removing any dirt, sand or particles which makes washing a rug a bit more difficult. This process will be repeated several times. We then move on to the next process. After the rug has been fully cleaned it will then be rinsed and re-rinsed and all excess water extracted.

Cleaning:

To start our steam and shampoo rug cleaning process, we will pick up your rug, come to your home or office roll up and take your rug to our huge, climate controlled cleaning facility in Massachusetts. Your rug will first be steam cleaned to loosen grime, stains, spills and odors. Your rug will go through our shampoo cleaning process or submersion cleaning process, sometimes both, depending on the condition of your rug.

Drying:

Once your rug has had its full cleaning process done it will be removed from the submersion area and will be flush using our commercial grade hose and commercial grade rinsing agents. We will continue to rinse your rug until the water is clear. We will then use our powerful, yet safe extraction equipment to remove as much water as possible. This will also help fluff up the fibers of the rug and return the pile to its new state. It is important for your rug to be dried off quickly to prevent mold or mildew. We place your rug on a swinging drying rack using warm air movers.

Inspection + Delivery:

When your rug is completely dry we will do an overall inspection, the actual rug, back, front and fringes as well. We will make sure that all dirt and stains have been removed, in not, the rug will get another deep cleaning process. We check every single part of the rug so we do not miss anything. Photos will be taken at this point. Once we are satisfied we have done our job we roll it up your rug, store it, place in plastic and then contact you to arrange for delivery.

Rug Protection:

If you decide, the day prior to delivery we will spray an organic fiber protection. This will allow you to pick up spills when they happen. Your spill will form a “bubble “for up to 1 minute. This will allow you to clean it up before it sets into the fabric.

We also offer hand cleaning and dry fabric cleaning for more delicate rugs such as silk, cashmere, handmade, heirloom, museum rugs. Hyde, sisal, jute and all other rugs that cannot be cleaned with water. Just as effective as our wet cleaning service but without the use of water.
